Winton Hills Academy

homeworkAt Winton Hills Academy we have very high expectations for our students' academic progress.  CPS has adopted the new Common Core Standards .  These new standards were created to promote deeper thinking and prepare students for college and career.

Student progress is constantly monitored by staff and the district through the use of Powerschool and Dashboard .  Each child and parent have access to both programs.  Powerschool is used to track students' assignments and grades.  Dashboard is used to track state and district testing information.

Winton Hills is implementing EngageNY for math, that focuses on deeper learning and the Common Core Standards.  Grades Kindergarten through third grade use the district wide Journeys program for Reading.
